Angels of Awakening

Life is a river of energy that constantly flows.

It flows regardless of our attention to it - but how it flows through us is entirely dependent on us and our view of it, how much we allow it to come through us, and how much we have gotten in touch with Our Own Way and how it works in conjunction with The Way. To a great degree, we are the ones who dictate how much flows through us, and in what way it expresses itself through us.

We are dance partners with the flow of creation. We, our choice of focus, our expression of our own individual nature, are a part of the dance - not separate. Essentional in our individuality, in Our Own Way, in that which we add as a unique expression of creation to The Way - by being that which we are. We can’t fail at being that which we are. It’s a done deal. We are that we are, each and every one of us, perfect in our own creativity and Being-ness as a part of the great dance of All That Is.

We can, however, change up our own dance to make it more fun, more comfortable, more fulfilling, more expansive and authentic to the core essence of our own unique song. Fear throws off the music of our own soul because it causes us to clamp down on our own flow as it attempts to move us. Our mind, entrained into a physical system wired for survival, woos us into being afraid instead of moving to the tune of our inner song and thus dancing in perfect rhythm with the rest of creation.

When you dance out of rhythm with your true self, and thus creation, it tends to not be as fun a ride. You’re still dancing! It’s still perfect because it’s yours. But it may not be as wonderfully joyful and free as it could be when you’re doing the Salsa and the rest of creation happens to be waltzing, at the time.

So…that said…what to do? I don’t know Each person is totally unique, and I know this has to do with being a unique, individual self while still connecting with others and living a day to day life. I know it has to do with not letting fear get the better of us and stopping us from thinking new, original thoughts of our own… It has to do with taking those leaps and choosing those dreams over the safe and the known…

Nature has a system for helping us naturally move out of this, integrated into the very DNA of every individual alive. Our very bodies fit its dimensional quantuming - The Golden Mean.

It’s a spiral - kind of. Ever in motion, ever expanding upon itself. Notice how it suddenly shifts into a new space as it leaves the orbit of its original spiral and heads off to make a new even larger spiral? That new, larger spiral will contain the original as its core center. At the very center of the little spiral you see there is an even tinier little spiral - infinitely small, and infinitely huge. This is The Way of creation. The natural flow and the dance to which we are a part. However…

Our minds tend to enjoy the Known. It’s safe there, we know the drill of our original spiral, have it all mapped out and don’t tend to want to leave it behind when the time comes because heading out into the great unknown of creating a whole new spiral is Scary. That’s where the magic happens, though! That’s where we go from dancing the two step, to tangoing, to waltzing!

You can likely look back in your own life and point out those times where this took place for you. Many of them are mapped out by time itself, by the growth of your body vehicle that takes you from time to time and expression to expression. From baby to toddler. From toddler to child. From child to adolescent. However, we became a bit hooked on our idea of time, and our idea of ‘I Have Arrived’, when it comes to Adulthood.

I Have Arrived is a state which everyone covets, but no one is ever sure they’re at. We all want it, and we search for it - that space where the mind grows quiet and we can finally relax and fear nothing. Nothing to challenge us anymore - We Have Arrived. Nothing to scare us anymore, we know the score, and are experts about our space. We want to be there pretty badly…and once we think we maybe have it though aren’t sure but hope it’s true…we really don’t want to leave it. It is the Dance of the Known Path. The problem is - it gets old. Quickly.

It spins around and around itself, losing steam as it continues to re-create the same thing over and over. That experience that was SO good just isn’t as exciting or interesting on the 15th go around. We return to it because it’s comfortable…we feel good there, or at least we did… so we try to re-create it.

Less and less energy flows through us as we clamp down, refusing to launch out of ourselves and reach for the ne and unknown. “No!” we say, “I’ve arrived! This is it, it’s what I’ve been striving for. Now I have it and I am not letting go.”

“But there’s more for you…” creation whispers, tenderly dancing with us but able to offer it less and less of itself as we continue to revisit an echo of a past creation. “Why spin where you have already spun?”

What it all comes down to is - in truth, our identity is an idea in motion, and not intended to be fixed concept. Our minds try to fix that concept in place, to pin it down into a safe and known construct, because their basic programming is designed to keep us and our species alive.

When we listen to the song of fear and limitation that this original structure sings, our flow of identity tends to get backed up on itself. We reach one level and go for a new but very similar one because our primary mental mind says that what we want most is to maintain our comfort of The Known and Safe(r).

The mental primal mind had its heyday in the caveman era. A new day is dawning, and the old ways of being are now on a rapid decline. We know now that there’s more than we thought we knew - on a level that goes beyond thinking. We know now that there is more for us, more than just procreation and survival. There is creation.

Our souls are waking up, and their song, the song of our essence, is slowly but surely convincing us that we are safe enough to reach for the heavens - and we will find it. We’ll discover it’s been here all along - right in our own backyards. In the smiling eyes of a neighbor. In the feel of a breeze against our cheek - it’s all there. And we are a part of it.

In just the perfect way as the graceful the unfolding of a rose’s petals, we too are unfolding. As individuals. As a a species. As a world. We aren’t just knocking on heaven’s door - we’re in the process of walking through it, and in so doing we’re realizing …there is no door.
